Class Description:
This rapid-fire diagnostic clinic will determine where your general American accent is today and what to do next to achieve an American accent that will convince the industry and audiences that you are able to deliver a consistently accurate American accent under any conditions. Directions: For this class, you will prepare a one minute monologue written by an American writer for an American character. You must bring two printed copies of your text and a pencil. Memorization is not required. Reading from devices is not permitted. Alternatively, text will be provided for a cold reading opportunity. Limited to six participating actors. Observers are welcome!
