SAG-AFTRA members and allies showed up on the picket lines at Disney Studios on Nov. 1 — 11/1 — the 111th day of the strike. Thousands of picketers walked the lines, enjoying food, sharing in fellowship and grabbing one of the new SAG-AFTRA Disney picket line collectors’ pins. National Executive Director and Chief Negotiator Duncan Crabtree-Ireland attended the unity picket with the Negotiating Committee prior to returning to the table to work on an agreement with the Alliance of Motion Pictures and Television Producers that afternoon. This day was one for the books, marking a historic number of days of work stoppage.
