On Nov. 17, more than 300 Washington, D.C., and Baltimore-area media professionals gathered at the National Press Club for the Peer Awards — a night of honors, mingling and fun.
The Peer Awards celebrates local excellence in media and offers one of the most sought-after awards in our community. Established in 1997, the Peer Awards began as part of the former Washington Film and Video Council and later merged with the existing Television, Internet & Video Association of D.C. Video Festival.
Each entry was judged anonymously and on its own merit by a panel of professionals. Gold winners took home a stunning trophy, while silver and bronze winners were awarded a foil-embossed certificate at the end of the night.
