Monday, Sept. 3, 2018
Join SAG-AFTRA President Gabrielle Carteris, union leaders and fellow members for the largest Labor Day parade event on the West Coast! On Monday, September 3, the Los Angeles/Long Beach Harbor Labor Coalition will celebrate with the 39th Annual Labor Day March and Rally. Be a part of the SAG-AFTRA contingent as we march to honor labor’s victories and struggles. Marching bands, union delegations and floats, classic cars and motorcycles will be marching north to Banning Park.
The picnic and rally commences at noon. Bring the family and join with our union sisters and brothers for live music and a free picnic.
Schedule of Events
When: Monday, Sept. 3, Assembly begins 8 a.m., Parade departs 10 a.m.
Where: Meet at Broad & E Street, Wilmington, California (look for the SAG-AFTRA banner)
Route: E Street, to Avalon, to M Street, ending at Banning Park
After the march, please join the SAG-AFTRA team at Banning Park for speakers, music and the picnic.
