Description of Classes:

Kristina Haddad -The Craft

Class will work on how to create truthful, organic work and bring yourself to the part. Really digging into the process so this would be up on its feet doing various exercises and breaking down material to allow for a truthful performance

Mary Mac - Accent Acquisition in Theory and Practice!

“An actor with five accents is five actors.” This workshop is an introduction in learning how to learn dialects and accents. We will cover the Four Pillars of dialect acquisition, and put theory to practice by learning an accent in real time. Attendees will be provided an online folder of accent acquisition assets, along with an asset folder of the target accent practiced. Taught by Mary McDonald-Lewis, an internationally-known dialect coach and skilled instructor who loves sharing her passion for accents, dialects… and helping actors grow their team from one… to at least five!

Scott Rogers - Acting on Camera

We’ll cover many aspects of acting on camera, including addressing the most common mistakes actors make. We’ll do fun, one-of-a-kind exercises that: improve your ability to split your focus, help you see only what you need to see, learn dialogue amazingly fast, and exercises that simply help you act better on camera. These are all very important for actors on TV and in movies.

Brooke Totman - Rediscovering your sense of Play

This workshop will focus on tapping back into the joyful, playful side of the craft, a side that is often lost to the serious side of business. When we fall back in love with the process—have more fun doing what we love to do, we bring that energy to the audition room, book more jobs and feel better about the work we’re doing.

Parents/guardians of performers under 18 years old are welcome.

Please note that ADA requests must be received 72 business hours before the start of the event.
