As the coronavirus outbreak expands here in the United States and across the globe, the safety of our members and staff remains paramount.
To minimize the risk of exposure to COVID-19, as of Mar. 16 access to the SAG-AFTRA New York office location is suspended until further notice. All core services are fully functional and operations continue by telephone, email and digital communication.
Please contact the local as needed at (212) 944-1030 or by email at newyork@sagaftra.org. You can also contact SAG-AFTRA at (855) SAG-AFTRA. This phone number, along with the safety hotline, is on the back of your membership card and on your member app.
Please review this message from SAG-AFTRA President Gabrielle Carteris and NED David White for information on the expanded safety protocols being implemented out of an abundance of caution for your safety.
These precautions include the following temporary changes to New York programs which will remain in effect until further notice:
- NY Conservatory classes and workshops are postponed or canceled
- NY Film Society screenings are postponed
- The SAG-AFTRA Foundation will be temporarily suspending ALL in-person programs and facilities in New York, including Conversations, The Business, Small Group Sessions, and the Voiceover, On-Camera and Computer Labs. The Foundation will be moving many of its programs and services online and will be announcing these digital resources and updating membership shortly.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and will be updating you further as the situation continues to evolve.
