ACT Training Preps Union Members for Activism

On Oct. 10-11, Nevada Local President Kim Renee attended Activism Coordination Training. Hosted by the Nevada State AFL-CIO and held at its Henderson location, ACT is a two-day training program for union members that focuses on labor history, political engagement, volunteer recruitment and more. Union members who engaged in this training left with a deeper understanding of the labor union and a plan of action to grow and strengthen their local union.
