Taught by Rachel Bailit, this workshop is designed for military veteran actors. In this workshop we will discuss the wonderful possibilities and rewards of being a military veteran actor. Topics will include:
- Using your unique self and experiences as military veteran in your work
- How to create a life to support your acting career.
- Training and preparation to become an actor.
- Marketing yourself as an actor and military veteran.
- How to create authentically unique choices in auditions
- "Warm Readings" How to warm-up a script making by making specific choices. Actors should bring a two copies of short scene (two pages maximum). Scenes will be exchanged and actors will have a chance to get up and read. Brief supportive feedback/suggestions will be given.

About Rachel Bailit
Rachel Bailit is an actress and faculty member at The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. She also teaches at The Getty Museum and at Dreamworks Animation. Rachel is a member of The Los Angeles Military Personnel and Families Support Committee at SAG-AFTRA.
