Action Alert: Deadline Thursday to Vote

The deadline for you to vote to ratify the most progressive and inclusive Commercials Contracts agreement to date is this THURSDAY by 5 p.m. PDT.  

As we continue to move forward and adapt to the digital future of our industry, each step we take is essential to protecting and growing all members' work opportunities and earnings. 

This agreement was a long negotiation with a lot of hard work, resulting in a structure designed for the digital future and a long list of specific gains as well as a framework for transferring value from traditional media to digital media alongside corresponding changes in the industry. These major shifts require bold moves from us as we change with the times and adapt to ensure our members can benefit long term. This is how we set the table for future growth in work opportunities for union members, and how we make sure our members continue to receive fair and equitable compensation for the enormous contribution they make to the success of our employers. Your YES vote makes these progressive gains a reality.

Vote to ratify the agreement by 5 p.m. PDT, this Thursday, May 5, at ivsballot.com/commercials2022.
