On Tuesday, Feb. 19, at 10 a.m. Senate Bill (SB) 526 (Film, Television, and Digital Media Targeted Grant Program) by Senator Joe Gruters (R- Sarasota) will be heard in the Florida Senate Commerce and Tourism Committee.
The Commerce and Tourism Committee will be voting on SB 526 and we need your help! - The average annual wage of an industry professional in Florida is $81,720.
- The film, television and digital media industry is a clean, green industry.
- In the last 4 years the industry has lost more than $1 billion in projects that would have delivered more than 87,000 cast and crew jobs for Floridians.
The Senate Commerce & Tourism Committee meeting is Tuesday, Feb. 19 at 10 a.m. Please be sure to send your emails no later than end of day Monday, Feb. 18.
