Actors Access for Performers with Disabilities

You are invited to an exclusive unveiling of ActorsAccess.com’s new template for performers with disabilities.

What:
Designed in collaboration with Inclusion in the Arts, Breakdown Services, Casting Directors and Media Access Task Force, the new template will allow:

  • Casting directors to find performers with disabilities quickly and easily;
  • Actors with disabilities to self-identify quickly and easily using the provided checkable options.

Why: This is a unique opportunity to review how a demo reel, photos, resumes and your profile are incorporated into the casting process. We will be logging into breakdownexpress.com to see how casting views actual submissions made by agents and actors via actorsaccess.com. Most importantly, we want you to gain an understanding how you can better control your career as an actor.

Who: Casting Director Pam Dixon, past president of Casting Society of America (CSA) and Gary Marsh, President of Breakdown Services/Actors Access will be on hand to demonstrate this exciting new tool and answer questions from the audience. In addition, Breakdown is very interested in your input regarding how it can make using actorsaccess.com more usable for Performers with Disabilities so they can begin to design these features into their website.

Honored Guest – Kathleen Martinez
U.S. Department of Labor Assistant Secretary for Disability Employment Policy (ODEP)
