#AdsGoUnion Visits the PIT

SAG-AFTRA National and New York Local Board member Phoebe Jonas and member Josh Evans, along with commercials organizing staff member Adam Green, headed to the Flatiron District on March 2 to meet with improv performers at the Peoples Improv Theater.

A robust evening conversation over pizza covered the potential short- and long-term hazards of doing non-union commercials. The PIT’s denizens came with a host of questions about joining SAG-AFTRA, talking to commercial agents about doing union work and forging relationships in the industry. It was a great time, and all questions about the career benefits of union membership and work were answered with the wit, candor and smarts that’s come to be expected from the #AdsGoUnion team.
