On Feb. 5, members of the AFL-CIO Committee on Women Workers convened to discuss the power of women at the ballot box. SAG-AFTRA President Gabrielle Carteris, serves as a member of both the committee and the AFL-CIO’s Executive Council.

The committee received a presentation on the opinions of female voters in upcoming elections and the factors and concerns that influence their decisions. Other topics of discussion included  pay equity and examining ways women can support each other in the workplace, such as through peer support and mentoring.
