We are pleased to announce the 61st Annual Massachusetts AFL-CIO Scholarship Awards Program. All graduating seniors in Massachusetts who are seeking some form of higher education are eligible to compete. The AFL-CIO administers half a million dollars of scholarship awards on behalf of unions and labor councils throughout the state. Individual awards range from $500 to $16,000.

Labor History Exam Date: Feb. 6, 2019
To qualify for a scholarship, students must take the labor history exam. For more information about the scholarship program and/or to register for the exam, visit https://www.massaflcio.org/scholarships
As the New England Local is affiliated with the Greater Boston Central Labor Council and the North Shore Central Labor Council, members are able to receive other scholarships. We encourage our members to review the scholarships and criteria of these council scholarships.
