LOS ANGELES (December 2, 2015) – Anna Faris (Mom, the Scary Movie franchise) and Anthony Mackie (Captain America: The Winter Soldier, The Hurt Locker) will announce the nominees for the 22nd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards® on Wednesday, Dec. 9 at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, Executive Producer Kathy Connell announced today.

The nominations announcement will be carried live on TNT TBS, truTV, sagawards.tntdrama.com and truTV.com at 10 a.m. (ET) / 7 a.m. (PT). SAG-AFTRA President Ken Howard will introduce Faris and Mackie. Prior to the announcement, this year's stunt ensemble honors nominees will be announced by SAG Awards® Committee Chair JoBeth Williams and Committee Member Jason George during a live webcast on sagawards.tntdrama.com 9:50 a.m. (ET) / 6:50 a.m. (PT).

Anna Faris stars in CBS’ hit comedy Mom opposite Allison Janney. Additionally, Faris has recently launched her first podcast titled Anna Faris is Unqualified where she answers relationship questions submitted by listeners with surprise celebrity guests.

Faris has executive-produced and starred in the feature films The House Bunny and What’s Your Number. In the hit film The House Bunny, Faris starred as the leading role of Shelley Darlington, a Playboy Bunny who is kicked out of the mansion and tries to adjust to life on the outside. The project was hatched from an original idea by Faris and she collaborated with the writers of Legally Blonde on the script. Recently, Faris starred as the female lead opposite Sasha Baron Cohen in Paramount’s The Dictator.

Faris co-starred in the Oscar® nominated film Lost in Translation, alongside Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson for director Sofia Coppola. The critically acclaimed box-office hit earned Faris rave reviews. She also appeared in Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 where she reprised her animated role as Sam Sparks from the original box office hit Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. Faris’ additional feature films include I Give It a Year, Observe & Report, Brokeback Mountain for director Ang Lee, for which Faris received an Actor nomination as a member of the cast, Smiley Face for director Gregg Araki, Yogi Bear, Alvin & The Chipmunks: The Squeakquel, Take Me Home Tonight, Mama’s Boy, Just Friends, Waiting, Frequently Asked Questions About Time Travel, and Scary Movie, Scary Movie 2, Scary Movie 3, and Scary Movie 4.

On television, Faris has had memorable recurring roles on Entourage as “Herself” and on the final season of Friends, playing a surrogate mother to Monica and Chandler’s’ adopted baby.

Originally from Seattle, Faris started acting in the theatre at a young age. She currently lives in Los Angeles.

Anthony Mackie, who was classically trained at the Juilliard School of Drama, is a critically acclaimed actor who is able to capture a plethora of characters.

He currently stars in Seth Rogen’s holiday hit The Night Before and Paul Bettany’s Shelter with Jennifer Connelly. In February 2016 he will star in Triple 9 opposite Woody Harrelson and Kate Winslet. Mackie just wrapped production on the HBO adaptation of the Tony Award-winning play All the Way, in which he plays Martin Luther King Jr. opposite Bryan Cranston’s Lyndon B. Johnson.

Most recently Mackie starred in Love the Coopers with a wonderful ensemble cast and Our Brand is Crisis opposite Sandra Bullock. He also was recently seen on the big screen in Black or White opposite Kevin Costner and Octavia Spencer, and Playing It Cool with Chris Evans and Michelle Monaghan.

Mackie is a member of the Marvel Comics family, too. He made his Marvel debut as Sam Wilson/The Falcon in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which opened at No. 1, earning over $96 million and breaking the record for an April release. He reprised his character in Avengers: Age of Ultron, Ant-Man and the upcoming Captain America: Civil War (May 2016).

Other highlights from his impressive and varied list of film credits include Kathryn Bigelow’s multi-Oscar® winning The Hurt Locker, for which Mackie received an Actor® nomination as a member of the cast, as well as Jonathan Demme’s The Manchurian Candidate and Rodney Evans’ Brother to Brother.

Mackie also thrives on live theater. The rave reviews he received playing Tupac Shakur in the off-Broadway Up Against the Wind led directly to his auspicious film debut as Eminem’s nemesis in Curtis Hanson’s 8 Mile. Recently Mackie was part of the production of August Wilson’s 10-play cycle 20th Century at the esteemed Kennedy Center.
