Arizona-Utah Conservatory Kicks Off

The Arizona-Utah Local kicked off the 2024 Conservatory programming on Feb. 10 with a casting access workshop via Zoom. The workshop, led by Emmy-nominated L.A. Casting Director Jamie Castro, CSA, focused on booking co-star roles. She shared tips on self-taping, virtual and live auditions as well as script breakdown. Additionally, she provided the ever-important audition feedback on reads given during the program. There was also ample opportunity for attendees to ask questions and get answers. Castro’s unique insights into the current trends in online casting for both television and film proved an invaluable takeaway.
