Audiobook Narrators Prepare to Start a New Chapter

On May 30, the day after the Audio Publishers Association’s annual conference, SAG-AFTRA audiobook narrators from Massachusetts to Maui gathered in the Ken Howard Boardroom in the New York office to discuss their victories and the challenges ahead. Among the agenda items were setting upcoming contract negotiation priorities with publisher partners, talking about SAG-AFTRA’s successful efforts to organize independent authors, and reviewing and celebrating the considerable growth in union earnings in audiobooks.
