Performance coach and hypnotherapist Holly Shaw packed the San Francisco-Northern California office on Tuesday, Sept. 18, for Audition Mindset Mastery, a two-hour workshop on how to overcome stage fright and turn it into magnetism.

Attendees learned exercises like “the windmill” and how to drop into the optimum mindset to calm audition nerves. Actors had fun practicing, strutting, high-fiving each other and finding the humor in their worst audition experiences. Shaw gave participants new tools they can use to fortify their audition chops and connect with audiences and casting directors so that nerves are no longer a factor.

Shaw is a SAG-AFTRA member who coaches Emmy and Grammy award-winning performing artists in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
