The Arizona-Utah Local held our casual-to-chic SAG Awards viewing party in Phoenix at Gallagher’s Sports Grill on Jan. 19. Working with the members of our committee, one got the feeling that we were experiencing one of our happiest times.
Gallagher’s had the tables in position with menus, and we decorated with issues of The Hollywood Reporter, drink tickets, voting ballots and drawing tickets for the prizes, some swag/gifts. Wardrobes were beautiful, dominating with black, silver and red accented by hats and headbands. Hairstyles were beautiful!
We want to thank Earl Smith of Still’n Motion Picture for catching the joyful moments, as 70 SAG-AFTRA members and their guests arrived with hugs, handshakes and introductions. Thank you, Deborah Hall, for signing in our guests. Thank you, Joey Evans and Jo Wolff, for assisting with the prizes and Joe Corcoran for your technical expertise, being our president and for decorating. Thank you, Kyle Marsh, for your tireless assistance. Thank you, Rodd Wolff, for all your help. Thanks, Ted Raymond, for your special input and hard work. To Margie Ghigo, our National Board member, special thanks for manning the mic, and hugs to Kobe for being everyone’s wingman! Thanks to Ron Garland for counting ballots with me, and congratulations to winner Cheryl Miller!
Thank you all for the many gifts that were donated! Everyone went home with a present.
SAG-AFTRA makes us proud, connected and happy for one another’s achievements! The greatest gift for us is that we are brothers and sisters!
