Building the Workforce for the Future

Tech is transforming old jobs and creating new ones. Experts in digital literacy, Career and Technical Education (CTE), Industry 4.0, and career readiness and apprenticeship programs will discuss how to integrate technology into union-centered training programs and provide guidance on how unions can help their members learn the skills needed to thrive in transforming and newly created jobs. We will also discuss how workforce development can be used as an organizing tool to build union density.
