Call For Entries: 48-Hour Disability Film Challenge – Save 20 Percent on Entry Fee – Late Entry Deadline March 30th

Register today for the Disability Film Challenge, an annual weekend short film race April 1 - 3. Entrants are given 48 hours to make a three-to-five-minute film based on assigned genre and each film must have either an actor, writer, director, producer, or crew member with a disability on their team. Sign up today and join in on this opportunity to bring awareness of the disability community through filmmaking and storytelling.
 
Winners of the challenge will be mentored by top industry professionals like legendary writer producer Shawn Ryan (The Shield, The Unit, Lie to Me). Famed casting director Pam Dixon (City Slickers, The Green Lantern) will be back this year to mentor the winner for Best Actor. Emmy winning writer producer David Isaacs (Mad Men, Frasier, Cheers, Mash) will be another mentor. Roy Ashton, Head of the TV Literary & Packaging department at The Gersh Agency will also be mentoring this year. Roy Ashton has been involved with some of the biggest shows on television such as Castle, Game of Thrones and Bluebloods. Winning films will also screen at the TCL Chinese Theatre during the HollyShorts Film Festival and will receive Dell Tablets and Dell Mobile Workstations.
 
Submission Details: SAG-AFTRA members can take advantage of a 20% discount on the entry fee, and special arrangements have been made for the films to be produced under the SAG-AFTRA short film agreement. It's the responsibility of each member to confirm each producer has signed the applicable contract before making an agreement to render services.
