Kirsten Lara Getchell’s career as a headshot photographer spans 25 years, starting out in the entertainment business in Los Angeles photographing then fellow aspiring and countless working actors, including notable talents such as Sandra Bullock, Rainn Wilson, Josh Jackson, Jessica Alba, Nia Vardalos and Chris “Sully” Sullivan, among others. Her recent headshot of Rita Wilson ended up on the Greek stamp! She relocated to Berkeley in 2009 to be with her husband and stepdaughter, where she continues her mission to empower actors, models, and professionals by collaborating with them to capture winning headshots and lifestyle imagery. She currently shoots in and around her beautiful natural light studio located in the historic Berkeley Kitchens Building, and still travels back to Los Angeles for shoots a few times each year. Skilled in on-camera technique, she makes sure that viewers see you and are not distracted by your hair and makeup. Rockwood brings a grounding energy to shoots, helping clients feel comfortable and confident so their best selves come through the camera lens. Connect with her on Instagram at @Rachel.Rockwood.mua

Upcoming projects include a role in the locally-shot Netflix original All Day and a Night. Cistaro currently serves on the Northern California SAG-AFTRA Local Board. He also chairs the Local’s Conservatory Committee and the Voiceover/Commercial/Corporate Educational (VOCCO) Committee.
