Director of Capital Strategies, AFL-CIO
Carin Zelenko directs the AFL-CIO’s Capital Strategies program which is committed to protecting workers’ retirement security and rights on the job by improving corporate accountability, promoting sustainable business practices, and supporting investments in good, union jobs. For 30 years, Carin has worked in the labor movement to build a more just and inclusive economy that delivers value for workers, communities, and shareholders alike.
Carin leads the AFL-CIO’s Capital Stewardship Practitioners’ Group, serves on the advisory boards of Harvard University’s Trustee Leadership Forum and Georgetown University’s Labor Capital Fellows Program, and has helped develop trustee leadership programs for union pension fund trustees.
