Atrios Award-winning casting director Lisa Beach (Horrible Bosses, Hawaii Five-0, School Ties, Scream) has always wanted to visit Portland so the Portland Local Conservatory is giving her that chance with a special audition clinic for Portland Local members only!
This Conservatory class will consist of a lecture and live reading with a reader provided by the Conservatory Committee. Each actor should prepare their own scene, no more than 2-2.5 pages/2 minutes max. Topics covered include: audition techniques when actually doing a scene, do's and don'ts, what to expect in a casting office, self-tape hints and audition prep techniques.
