A Friday night house party is shown through the eyes of a post-grad misfit, her slacker Uber passenger, his long-lost love, and her neurotic boyfriend struggling to propose.
Seeking performers able to portray:
CALEB (LEAD) - Male, 21-35: Caleb is a struggling musician that never got around to growing up. His band is moving on from the rock 'n' roll days leaving him without many options. He's the guy you hate to like so much. His charisma and smile have gotten him through doors you and I will never get through. His youthful spirit is magnetic to anyone who comes into contact with him. He's lovable, but a bad bet in the relationship game. A notorious mooch incapable of taking care of himself.
AUGUST (LEAD) - Female, 21-27: August is a quirky, video game-loving, "Game of Thrones"-watching, college grad. She has just moved to Austin, TX with her best friend from college, McCall. The two have decided to embrace their new surroundings by having as much fun as possible without the urgency to grow up. But when McCall gets a good job and meets new friends, August quickly starts to feel left behind. August is primarily wrestling with the process of growing up. She doesn't have a job. She doesn't even know how to cook. She relies too heavily on McCall for everything and will be stretched to the limit in her desire to fit in. August also has low social awareness. Her humor is usually way over everyone's heads. She's fun and energetic, but it never seems to translate socially.
DAMIEN (LEAD) - Male, 21-33: Damien is your classic "good guy." He's incredibly sweet to his girlfriend, Betsy, but he's completely neurotic when it comes to making a plan and sticking to it. When Damien visits Austin, TX with Betsy (with the intention of proposing to her), his plans get sidetracked and the two end up at a party full of hipsters, slackers, and burnouts. Damien is a complete fish-out-of-water and will have to put up with the bullshit and banter of every 20-something he meets if he hopes to get out on Betsy's good side. Headstrong. Tightly wound. Future Ted-talker. Damien was a college athlete and pursues excellence in everything he does.
