Clarification About Casting for Hawaii Five-O and Magnum P.I.

The below reminder sent to you about the Sande Alessi Casting process is regarding background casting. Principal casting for Hawaii Five-0 and Magnum P.I. continues to be done by Rachel Sutton. We apologize for any confusion that may have occurred.

Just a reminder that all background casting for Hawaii Five-0 and Magnum P.I. are being handled by Sande Alessi Casting, who will be phasing out their old office line over the coming months. This means you are responsible for checking your emails, cell phones and social media for casting updates. Being proactive is the best way to ensure you are getting submitted and booked as frequently as possible.

The database does require an active internet connection and a high speed browser to sign up. If you have issues on one computer or browser be sure to change up your methods and try again. You can even sign up on your mobile device.

Please note if you have to cancel, it is your responsibility to try to reach someone by any means possible until you get a response. 
 
Some tidbits and tricks:

• When Sandie Alessi Casting books cars, most productions want to avoid all white, red and bright silver cars since cameras see them as bright blurs usually.
• Be sure to know all your sizes (men and women should be measured by a tailor.) Sizes needed regularly are height, weight, neck, sleeve, waist, true waist, inseam (ladies should also know bust, hips, waist, dress) and shoes.
• Check your email and phone regularly. Be sure to read all information when it is sent to you! 
• Casting cell numbers are not to be shared, abused or bombarded. These are so you know who to expect when these numbers come through. We will be texting through these numbers as well so that will make it easier to communicate pictures and information.
• Please make sure that your photos and contact information are always up to date.
• Please be sure to mark in the online database if you have a tux, evening gown, cocktail dress, etc. These are the looks for Magnum P.I. primarily.
• If you have medical experience of any kind please note that as "Nurse" under special skills in the database.
