Dear Colorado Local Member,

I wanted to reach out to you during this difficult time, to let you know that SAG-AFTRA continues to work diligently on your behalf.  The health and safety of SAG-AFTRA members is always our top priority.  Faced with this unprecedented global health crisis, we must act urgently in order to achieve the greatest outcomes.  It is crucial that we are diligent and work together to advocate for our fellow members and our local communities.

The purpose of this letter is to ensure that you have access to credible resources should you need them.  There is an onslaught of ‘misinformation’ circulating through all forms of social media. Please be vigilant in vetting any information that has not come from local, state and/or federal agencies, major news outlets and organizations that you know you can trust.

We are aware of the challenges many of our members currently face as productions are coming to a halt.

A list of nationwide resources for financial and health assistance can be found here. Two of those are our partners:

To assist members of the Colorado Local, we have compiled critical resources available to members living in Colorado and Wyoming. A few we wanted to highlight are listed below.

Despite the current crisis, the Colorado Local remains active and our staff is working remotely to ensure the core work of our Union continues. Click here for a list of locals’ support staff. Keep an eye out for future emails and remember that your union is here for you. Stay safe by following the advice of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention as well as the guidance of local government authorities. And please look out for one another.
