Sorry, registrations are no longer available for Come Get Your Money: Building a Sustainable Career
This “Spooky Season,” make money a little less scary with an interactive financial wellness panel hosted by the L.A. Local NextGen Performers Committee (NGP)!
Whether you have questions about side hustles in and outside of the business, investing as a millennial/Gen Z actor, or making sense of how our contracts make us money... we have you covered. There are some incredible panelists and guests including SAG-AFTRA Director of Contract Strategic Initiatives & Podcasts Shaine Griffin, Abundance Bound Program Facilitator Ruthy Otero, SAG-AFTRA Credit Union Chief Lending Officer Dan Gushue and Sam Valentine from One Broke Actress. The panel will be moderated by Entertainment Community Fund’s Looking Ahead Program Manager Vy Nguyen.
You’ll leave the panel with actionable steps and resources to take control of your financial life so that checking your bank account doesn’t feel like a scene from a horror movie.
Following the panel, talk money tips— or movie recommendations— at a mixer with panelists and fellow SAG-AFTRA members. You can also visit one of the tables hosted by the Entertainment Community Fund or SAG-AFTRA Credit Union.
Register now because there may just be a very special surprise for attendees! 👻
