We're Fighting for Our Survival
SAG-AFTRA members have been on strike against video game employers since July 26, 2024. While negotiations have resulted in finding common ground on some contract terms, we remain far apart on provisions that will ensure fundamental A.I. protections for our members. We encourage you to read this extensive updated comparison chart of A.I. proposals to see for yourself the loophole-filled language employers are proposing instead of the transparent, enforceable A.I. guardrails we deserve.
Every voice matters in this fight. Click here to learn how you can help support the strike, both virtually and in person.

The National Board has declared a strike of all covered services under the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists Interactive Media Agreement, Interactive Localization Agreement, and Interactive Low Budget Agreement (hereafter, together “the IMA”) and instructs all SAG-AFTRA members to cease rendering all services and performing all work covered by the IMA, effective at 12:01 a.m. on July 26, 2024.
Please note that some companies will have both struck games and games that cannot be struck due to certain contract terms and, as such, it's easier to think about the strike in terms of struck games as opposed to struck companies. There also are interactive programs approved for an Interim Interactive Media Agreement or Interim Interactive Localization Agreement, or signed to a Tiered-Budget Independent Agreement that are not struck and members are encouraged to work these programs during the strike.
To find out the status of a game, and whether it is within the scope of the Strike Order, enter the Production ID and/or the full code name into the search tool below. This tool will be updated regularly.
Note that if you do not input the full code name correctly, you will get an invalid result that may not be correct.
Please note: Because games sometimes use the same or similar code names or multiple code names, please be aware that the Production ID number is the most accurate way to verify your result. If you are searching using a code name only, you should verify the search result by reaching out to videogamestrike@sagaftra.org.
This Comic-Con panel features top game performers speaking about the unique challenges of voice and movement performance in video games, the threat of A.I. to their profession, and SAG-AFTRA’s recent strike against major game publishers.
