We're Fighting for Our Survival

SAG-AFTRA members went on strike against video game employers on July 26. The strike was called after more than 18 months of negotiations with some of the largest video game companies ended without a deal. The employers rebuffed our proposals for consent, compensation and transparency around the use of A.I., and instead have countered with loophole-filled language that negates any protections they claim to offer.

Employers understand that our performances have value — otherwise they wouldn't be negotiating with us. It’s only fair that members be protected and paid for the value their performances create.

We invite you to read this comparison of what we are asking for with regards to AI, versus the employers’ proposals. Then join our fight. Click here to learn how you can support the strike, both virtually and in person.
