If you choose to file a complaint, the Equity & Inclusion staff will review your complaint with you to determine if SAG-AFTRA should file a formal claim on your behalf. If appropriate, the union will send the producer a formal complaint along with our policy on discrimination and harassment. The complaint requires the company to investigate and take immediate action to remedy any inappropriate conduct.
Once the investigation ends, the producer shall provide SAG-AFTRA a response and outline any action taken to remedy the misconduct (i.e., suspension or another form of discipline). We will then provide you with notice of the outcome and discuss action(s) taken, if any.
