Get involved with YOUR local union.
SAG-AFTRA Dallas-Fort Worth Local members are invited to get involved with YOUR local union. Engaging in union service is a valuable tool for your career and now is the time to apply for positions on our local standing committees. Any active member paid-up and in good standing of the local who wishes to serve throughout the 2023-2025 term may apply. The deadline for application is April 10 at 5 p.m.
The Dallas-Fort Worth Local committees are listed below and interested members may apply for more than one committee. Your letter of interest should include your name, committee preference(s) and a brief statement about your background and/or desire to serve. If you’re not sure about the particulars but would like to get involved, you can leave your committee preference blank. We will follow up to explain committee work and help you decide what might be a good fit. Please do not include your full resume and note that an application does not guarantee placement.
Each committee will have a minimum of three members and up to a maximum of 13 members. Our local covers a large area of north Texas as well as Arkansas and Oklahoma, so committees will meet remotely via Zoom to coordinate activities and increase engagement in our entire jurisdiction.
Please send your letter of interest to dallas@sagaftra.org by April 10 at 5 p.m. After reviewing and forming committees, we will contact you with more information and next steps. Please email us with any questions.
