'Departing Seniors' a Hit for At The Table Series

SAG-AFTRA Chicago Local members participated in another successful table read for the popular At the Table series on Oct. 29 at the Kaufherr Center. The chosen script, Departing Seniors, written by SAG-AFTRA member Jose Nateras, is a darkly comedic, high school horror movie with a gay, Mexican-American protagonist. The film was written in the vein of movies such as Wes Craven’s Scream and Blumhouse Production’s Happy Death Day. The At the Table series is in partnership with IFP Chicago.
