Dileep Rao is a native Angeleno. Theater appearances include world premieres of Yoga Play and Making It at South Coast Repertory, Indian Ink (American premiere) at A.C.T. San Francisco; Fetes de la Nuit and Perfect Wedding, world premieres by Charles S. Mee (Kirk Douglas Theatre, Berkeley Repertory Theatre); Sense and Sensibility (South Coast Rep), The Lover (New Langton Arts); the national tour of Tale of the Allergist’s Wife (Manhattan Theatre Club); Free Outgoing (East West Players); Shiv (The Theatre @ Boston Court) and King Charles III (Pasadena Playhouse). His television credits include “Brothers & Sisters,” “Touch,” “Childrens Hospital,” “Z Nation,” and "Mr Robot." His film credits include Avatar, Drag Me to Hell, Inception and Beeba Boys. He can next be seen in Avatar 2 and 3. He is a graduate of UC San Diego and holds an MFA from the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco.
