In recognition of the National Day of Solidarity coordinated by the AFL-CIO, SAG-AFTRA and WGA, join us for a dual rally in support of the Multi-Media Jobs Act Legislation and in solidarity with SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikers.
This summer the bipartisan Multi-Media Jobs Act was introduced in the Michigan legislature. This bill has the potential to bring film and television jobs back to Michigan. We will discuss what this means and what we can do to help enact this important legislation.
We will also be rallying in support of the TV/Theatrical/Streaming strike. We will have a limited quantity of SAG-AFTRA STRONG shirts available to members who show their membership card or digital membership card on the SAG-AFTRA app. Shirts are limited, so If you received a SAG-AFTRA shirt at a previous event, please wear it.
The event starts promptly at 6:30 p.m. so please plan to arrive a few minutes early.
