Since 1995, The Actors Theatre Workshop (ATW) has been providing New York City homeless children with a unique and life-changing experience through our 12-week after school theatre and education program, The Builders of the New World (BNW). Our children’s classes and holiday parties on Tues, Dec. 10 and Wed, Dec. 11 will kick off our 25th landmark season of BNW and give the children the opportunity to enjoy a hot, nutritious meal, experience an illuminating drama class, and receive a holiday gift selected especially for them.

Volunteers with writing, outreach, production, fundraising, administration, event planning, and video skills can join our diverse, talented team to help organize and raise awareness for ATW and this wonderful program. Volunteering is flexible with your schedule.

On the day of the children’s classes, volunteer teams will have the opportunity to set-up the theatre, serve the holiday meals, share a family-style meal with the children, assist in the creative class, pass out holiday gifts and much, much more!

Learn more about our non-profit theatre and programs, and be interviewed at one of the six Information Sessions we are hosting this fall.

RSVP for an Info Session now by e-mailing outreach@actorstheatreworkshop.com with your name, phone number and most importantly – attendance date!
