Filming Gets a Boost in Maryland

SAG-AFTRA National Board member Towanda Underdue, former Washington-Mid Atlantic Local President Kathryn Klvana and member Maggie Linton join Maryland Gov. Wes Moore and industry supporters from the Maryland Film Industry Coalition on May 8 for the signing of Senate Bill 452, the Film Production Activity Income Tax Credit, which increases the tax credits through fiscal year 2026. It also establishes the Maryland Entertainment Council to study and make recommendations to ensure a healthy and competitive entertainment industry in Maryland.
