Free Actor’s Workshop in Austin

The Houston-Austin Local Conservatory is offering our members a FREE in-person actor's workshop with Brad Fleischer on Sunday, Jan. 26 from 1-3 p.m. at the Crashbox in Austin. Brad Fleischer will take time to introduce himself, and speak about his experience and his plans for the Houston-Austin area, having recently relocated to Houston. If time permits, Fleischer will provide sides and coach several volunteers.

About Brad Fleischer: Brad Fleischer is an actor, director and producer with over 20 years experience in theater, film and TV. He has been an acting teacher and set coach for the past 15 years. He starred on Broadway with Robin Williams in Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo as well as acting in Coram Boy, Golden Boy and Streamers. Fleischer's TV and film credits include The Walking Dead, The Equalizer, The Good Shepherd, Prison Break, Blue Bloods, The Unit, Law and Order, and Jericho. Fleischer was an associate producer on the film Small Engine Repair, starring Jon Bernthal and Shea Whigham. His production company, GhostLight media, can be found at ghostlight-media.com.

This event is only open to active SAG-AFTRA members in good standing (paid through April 30, 2025). No guests are allowed. Parents/guardians of performers under 18 years old are welcome.
