Get Involved with the Film Tax Incentive Bill

Dear Member, 

Earlier today, a film tax incentive bill was introduced in the Minnesota House of Representatives by Representatives Dave Lislegard and Greg Davids. The text of the bill can be found here.
 
Film production incentives have proven a powerful engine of economic development and job creation in several states and we believe the same can be true for Minnesota.  
 
SAG-AFTRA is committed to this important endeavor and we encourage all members of the Twin Cities Local to stay on the lookout for updates from us.  We are working closely with the Minnesota Film Alliance to ensure every effort is made to get this legislation moving in St. Paul.
