This summer, the SAG-AFTRA Nashville Local will be conducting elections and we are currently seeking members willing to participate in our union democracy by serving on the 2023 Nashville Local Elections Committee.
If you are appointed to the committee, you will need to be available for occasional Zoom meetings from May through September and the in-person tabulation date. The number of meetings may vary depending on local needs. To be eligible to serve, members must be paid-up and in good standing, members of the local, and may not be candidates for any position in the 2023 elections. Service on the committee commences immediately upon appointment and will render you ineligible to run office.
If you’re not planning to run for office this year and are interested in serving on this committee, please email nashville@sagaftra.org by Friday, March 31, with your professional name and SAG-AFTRA ID. Your name will then be submitted to the Local Board for consideration and you will be contacted if you are appointed to serve.
