Branch Host: Hollywood Division * Hollywood, CA Event Location: Screen Actors Guild James Cagney Room 5757 Wilshire Blvd, Ground Floor Los Angeles, CA 90036 Event Date: 12 - 2 p.m. (first seminar) 6 - 8 p.m. (second seminar) Friday, August 5, 2005 WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE SIGNING A GSA/AGENCY CONTRACT AGREEMENT SAG National Agency staff will be holding a series of member educational seminars on general service agreements (i.e. the contracts that ATA agents have been using to represent our members instead of the standard SAG agency contract). These GSA contracts are wholly outside of SAG protection, and it is imperative that each member has a working knowledge of what these contracts say before they sign them. These educational seminars will be especially helpful to any members having trouble making sense of the complicated legal language contained therein. We urge all SAG members to attend. Two seminars will be conducted on Friday, August 5, 2005, one at 12- 2p.m. and one at 6-8 p.m. Interested members should specify which of the two sessions they wish to attend. The seminars will be held in the James Cagney Room at SAG National Headquarters, 5757 Wilshire Blvd., ground floor, Los Angeles, CA 90036. Seminars will be conducted by the National Director of Agency Relations, Zino Macaluso, and the Senior Agency Manager, Lori Hunt. Only members with valid SAG IDs will be permitted entry, so members must bring cards with them. No exceptions will be made. Only those members who have received confirming emails from SAG may attend, so act quickly since seating is limited!
