Hannah Williams is a social activist and former data analyst in the Washington, D.C. metro area tackling a major issue: pay transparency. After finding out she was underpaid, Hannah created Salary Transparent Street, an online series where she interviews strangers on the street about their careers and how much they make to normalize pay transparency and help close pay gaps. Her work has contributed to a global shift in pay transparency, social norms, and legislation. She's been invited to testify in support of multiple pay transparency bills in DC, MD, and VA, and her work has been featured by major media organizations like The Washington Post, The New York Times and BBC.
