Named after a Chicago Local employee, the Betty Mitchell Sick and Benefit Fund has been lending a hand to members in need since 1958. Described as 'the soul of kindness and generosity,' Betty's legacy continues to inspire SAG-AFTRA members to help each other.
Recent demands have been great and the fund's current reserves are very low. The Betty Mitchell Fund committee has launched the Buck$ for Betty campaign at the June 1 annual membership meeting.
