One hundred and fourteen SAG-AFTRA Hawaii Local members and their guests rang in the new year on Jan. 27 with a SAG Awards viewing party. For the fifth year in a row, the Hawaii Local gathered at the historic Honey’s Restaurant at the Ko’olau Golf Course. Drawing the largest group ever for a viewing party, the celebration included a several games, pupu (appetizers) and completion of the SAG Awards scorecard. Member Edward Chin won a SAG Awards T-shirt for guessing nine out of 15 correct recipients on the SAG Awards scorecard. Hawaii Local President David Farmer served as master of ceremonies. Jean Simon and Leanne Natsuyo Teves are co-chairs of the SAG Awards Viewing Party Committee.
