"The Hawai’i Conservatory is rocking! If you haven’t taken advantage of our active SAG-AFTRA Hawai’i Local Conservatory yet, what are you waiting for? Last year was one of our best years yet, and 2019 is starting off even better. We’ve already had two popular workshops — and that was just in January. We were so fortunate to have L.A. actor and acting teacher Laura Gardner come out and teach a monologue workshop to 18 actors. Her workshop was very well received by all in attendance. A week later, I taught a workshop on the Chekhov acting technique “psychological gesture” to about 29 actors. These classes only cost about $10 each for SAG-AFTRA members in good standing. That’s like two Starbucks lattes. So, don’t wait until Magnum and Five-0 wrap. Train today so you’re ready to work tomorrow. Come join us. Invest 10 bucks in your career. You’ll be glad you did."
