On Wednesday, Nov. 9, the Hawaii Local sponsored the Hawaii International Film Festival Event, Hometown Heroes: The State Of 808 Indie Filmmaking. The event was well attended and participants were able to take part in a robust discussion about independent filmmaking in Hawaii.
