SAG-AFTRA honored the enduring legacy of one of history's most revered civil rights figures at the Los Angeles County Federation of Labor’s Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Breakfast on Jan. 23 at The Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles. Congressman and civil rights activist John Lewis spoke on the importance of taking a stand for justice. SAG-AFTRA L.A. Local Executive Director Ilyanne Morden Kichaven was in attendance, along with Diversity Advisory Committee Chair Jason George, L.A. Local First Vice President and National Board Member Esai Morales, Tohoru Masamune, Shyla La’Sha, Shea Scullin, Ron Morgan, Tracy Fraim, and National and L.A. Local Board member Vivicca A. Whitsett.
