On Tuesday, April 18, SAG-AFTRA joined the New York City Central Labor Council at the Eventi Hotel in Manhattan for its annual awards reception. The awards honored the NAACP New York Branch; Hotel & Gaming Trades Council President Richard Maroko; and Patricia White, president of Theatrical Wardrobe Union, Local 764, IATSE, and international trustee/director of education and training, IATSE International. SAG-AFTRA New York Local Board member Verania Kenton, New York Local Executive Director Rebecca Damon, and Associate General Counsel Justin Touretz celebrated the year in labor with members of the Hip-Hop Alliance, New York State Comptroller Tom DiNapoli, and leaders across all New York City labor organizations.
