Staff at National Public Radio gathered in solidarity with ice-cold sweet treats on July 24 in celebration of the more than 500 SAG-AFTRA members who work there.

The NPR Ice Cream Social is an annual event sponsored by SAG-AFTRA. NPR employees in the Washington, D.C., New York and Los Angeles bureaus gathered as an effort to highlight the great work our union does and to show support for the greater NPR community on a hot summer's day.

The event provided an opportunity for non-members to meet and connect with union employees and staff to learn the benefits of joining SAG-AFTRA.
