IMDb Rolls Out New Union Badge for SAG-AFTRA Members

It’s now easier than ever for performers to showcase their verified SAG-AFTRA membership to fans, casting directors, producers and other industry professionals on IMDb and IMDbPro.

As part of SAG-AFTRA’s ongoing collaboration with IMDb, members can now add a SAG-AFTRA verified badge to their IMDb and IMDbPro pages. Professionals with IMDbPro Premium can search for verified SAG-AFTRA performers, so adding the badge to your IMDbPro page empowers you to be discovered. Verified members also receive a 30% discount on IMDbPro Premium.

The collaboration is another milestone in the union’s efforts to make IMDb and IMDbPro an invaluable tool for performers looking to advance their careers.

“We are pleased to continue collaborating with IMDb to empower SAG-AFTRA members with tools to choose how they want to represent themselves on IMDb and IMDbPro,” said SAG-AFTRA President Fran Drescher. “This new feature makes it easy for performers to highlight their SAG-AFTRA membership to decision-makers who discover talent on IMDbPro and — bonus — gives members access to preferred pricing on IMDbPro Premium!”

To verify your membership and add a SAG-AFTRA badge on IMDb and IMDbPro, follow these steps:

• Go to the SAG-AFTRA member verification page on IMDbPro and click “Continue.”
• Log into your IMDbPro account. If you are not yet an IMDbPro member, you will be prompted to join IMDbPro Basic (free) or Premium (preferred pricing after verification).
• Input your SAG-AFTRA member ID number, which can be found on your SAG-AFTRA ID card or on the SAG-AFTRA member portal.
• Input the email address associated with your SAG-AFTRA membership. This email address can be found on the SAG-AFTRA member portal and is only used by IMDbPro for SAG-AFTRA member verification purposes.
• Click “Continue.”
